2012 is an upcoming disaster film directed by Roland Emmerich. The film has an ensemble cast, including John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton, Oliver Platt, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Woody Harrelson. The film will be distributed by Columbia Pictures. Filming began in August 2008 in Vancouver. The film's release date is expected to be November 13, 2009 worldwide.

The film explores the idea of a global doomsday event coinciding with the end of the Mayan Long Count Calendar's current cycle on or around December 21, 2012 (the northern hemisphere's winter solstice).

Jackson Curtis (John Cusack) is a divorced father who occasionally works as a limousine driver and a writer, while his ex-wife (Amanda Peet) and children live together with her new boyfriend. In Guatemala there is word that hundreds of people have committed suicide believing the 2012 Hypothesis is true and in reaction to this, the IHC (Institute for Human Continuity), a secret organization that realizes the world is going to end, is formed, and starts construction of massive space arks beneath the Himalayan mountains in preparation for the end of the world. The governments of the world give the IHC the task to save the human race when doomsday happens.

When they discover that a global cataclysm caused by the Earth crust displacement will occur faster than expected, they must race to these ships in order to save the human race before all is lost. Los Angeles is completely destroyed by massive earthquakes, Yellowstone Supervolcano erupts, massive earthquakes occur in South America and The Vatican crumbles into oblivion. As worldwide floodings get worse, the US government declares the end of the world. A group of survivors, including Jackson Curtis and his family fight their way to China before they can board the great arks and save themselves from the gigantic tidal waves sweeping across the Earth.

The prequel story traces the origins of the centuries-old blood feud between the aristocratic vampires and their onetime slaves, the Lycans. In the Dark Ages, a young Lycan named Lucian (Sheen) emerges as a powerful leader who rallies the werewolves to rise up against Viktor (Nighy), the cruel vampire king who has enslaved them. Lucian is joined by his secret lover, Sonja (Mitra), in his battle against the Vampire army and his struggle for Lycan freedom.

Underworld: Rise of the Lycans is the third installment of films in the Underworld series. It is a prequel set prior to Underworld and Underworld: Evolution, covering the origins of some characters. Screen Gems will release the film on January 23, 2009.

Angels & Demons is a bestselling mystery novel by American author Dan Brown. An Assassin working for the Illuminati, have captured four cardinals, and murders each, painfully. Robert and Vittoria also are searching for a new very destructive weapon that could kill millions.

The Pope died and the conclave has been called for. Four candidates were chosen. However, before the voting, the 4 candidates are killed one by one. The killer leaves clues that seems to say that he/she is from the Illuminati. Strangely though, the Illuminati was long thought to be extinct. Who is the mastermind? Who revived the Illuminati? What do they want?

Rowling, with series veterans Steve Kloves and David Yates writing and directing, respectively. The Deathly Hallows will be split up into two films, with Part 2 set for release six months later.
